Prepare the following:
- Ground coffee (medium)
- Water (93°C)
- Aeropress, paper filter, cup/server
- Scale and timer
Time to brew!
- Place your filter in the filter cap and fix it into your Aeropress. Pre-heat by pouring water into the chamber and letting the water drip into your cup. Discard water.
- Place your Aeropress and cup on your scale and tare.
- Pour the coffee grounds into your Aeropress and level the grounds by slightly tapping it sideways. Tare your scale.
- Start your timer and continuously pour water and let it bloom for 40 seconds. Lock the Aeropress by placing the plunger at 1:25 minutes.
- At 2:30, remove your Aeropress and cup from the scale and start pressing down slowly. End by 2:50 minutes.
- Once you hear hissing, take off your Aeropress and swirl your server vigorously to mix the components of your brew. This also allows your coffee to cool down and let the flavors come out naturally. Savor the aroma.
- Serve, and enjoy your freshly brewed coffee!
