Produced by young farmer Rodyio Tacdoy from La Trinidad, Benguet, this naturally processed heirloom coffee earned the highest bid at the Philippine Coffee Quality Competition—historic, bold, and deserved—making it the Philippines' number 1 specialty arabica coffee in 2025.

But beyond the accolades is a story rooted in family, patience, and purpose. This coffee carries Rodyio’s dream not just for his farm, but for every young farmer in the North still waiting for their time. This victory proves that the time is now.

The FAT (Food Authenticity and Traceability) Program of the DLSU and the PNRI (Philippine Nuclear Research Institute) is a project that fulfills the Philippine Coffee Stakeholders aspiration to promote traceability through geographical identification using scientific data collated from the PCQC winning coffee origins.
