Reyjohn Basco’s coffee reflects the growing potential of Philippine Fine Robusta. Grown at 960 masl in Kulaman, Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat, and naturally processed, it offers a distinctive cup profile of lime, molasses, bergamot, and rum, showcasing the character of its origin and the possibilities of locally grown Robusta.
His dedication to coffee quality has earned recognition on both national and international stages. At the Global Coffee Awards (GCA), his coffee received Gold in the Filter Robusta category in 2026 and Silver in the same category in 2025. In 2026, Curve Coffee Collaborators was also named Overall National Winner of the Philippines for the second consecutive year.
Reyjohn’s achievements also include 1st Place in the Robusta category at the 2024 Philippine Coffee Quality Competition (PCQC), where his coffee scored 86.45. He was also the sole winner in the Robusta coffee processing category for natural processing.
